The technology behind NuYu was invented and patented by our founder, Tye Rubins, in the mid 1980s. With the public’s growing thirst for self-improvement products, Tye recognized a need for a new approach in the developing and manufacturing of products that would quickly and effectively help people gain access to their own peak mental performance. Why, he wondered, hadn’t modern technology merged with psychology, physiology, and philosophy?
In 1992, Tye,at the time, a hypnotherapist certified by the American Board of Hypnotherapy, joined together with some of the best minds in the fields of science, engineering, behavioral psychology, eastern/western philosophy and human physiology. Together they went about developing tools to access the power of the mind. They formed BrainStorm Technologies, Inc., with the main objective to develop products to enhance and improve the use of the mind for the benefit of individuals and humanity. To do this, the company needed to bring to people an easy and fast way to access and enhance their natural abilities for personal growth, be it spiritual, emotional or self-improvement. Tremendous gains had already been made with the advent of microcomputers. It was decided to dedicate the company to search, uncover and develop the ultimate tools for mental, spiritual and personal enhancement.
Tye's first U.S. Patent was issued in 1993 with the second U.S. Patent issued in 1995. With these patents, we developed our first product, the “MindTech 2000.” This revolutionary light and sound player played back light and sound from 4-track tape, much like a VCR plays back pictures and sound. The MindTech 2000 brought users amazing results, allowing them to lose weight, quit smoking, become more confident and self-assured, enhance their memories and even their golf games.
But since the world has changed, so have we. We now use patent pending digital technology that is the next step in the evolution of self-improvement products.
Mindtech, Inc., is proud to bring you the NuYu.
